We Provide Trained Service Dogs for Veterans and Disabled Children

At Canine Companions USA our mission is to provide service dogs for veterans and children with physical or mental/emotional disabilities. We work hand in hand with organizations such as PVA Paralyzed Veterans, and K9 Connection of Stuart, FL to provide our expertly trained service dogs free of charge. To help further our goal and provide valuable skills to interested veterans, we also have a training program which enables these vets to take positions throughout the country to become dog trainers and kennel managers.

CCUSA provides a life-changing service for the disabled. These dogs truly change people’s lives.

Independence Village in Fort Garland Colorado

Please join us in making a difference! We are raising money to benefit Canine Companions Usa Corp, (CCUSA).  We, along with other community based charities and businesses, are teaming up in Fort Garland, Colorado to build, “Independence Village” on an existing 10 Acre square Parcel of land donated to CCUSA for this project. This site will have 6  Eight hundred Sq. ft. Cabins with full living quarters.

Each Cabin will house one veteran and one dog training companion in unison to become qualified as a service dog and handler team.

While on site, Veterans will have access to assistance in filing for benefits and access to Medical Staff and other licensed team veteran support staff for Mental health or physical therapy services.

We will also build and host a total of 6 additional cabins as transitional housing for Veterans needing assistance in getting back into the community. Each veteran is joined with another more experienced veteran who is already half way through there program, to assist and guide new vets through the beginnings of a new life and whole world of opportunity.

Donations, Mentors and team members are how we succeed

Onsite recreation such as community based club house equipped with exercise equipment, pool table, darts, tv, Wi-Fi , out door jacuzzi and lap pool for rehabilitation and relaxation.

Someone will be on site 24/7 and the entire grounds will be under video surveillance as well as  a security gate with granted access.

Your donation will help make an impact on many lives. Our goal is simple, provide quality services to veterans and their families. Give them a judgement free environment and refuge. As well as, provide solace and relaxation to rebuild and strengthen from within.

100% ABSOLUTELY Free of charge to all veterans, regardless of ability to pay

All staff and CCUSA board members are 100% VOLUNTEER and take no salaries.

Thank you, in advance, for your contribution to this cause that means so much us.
